My son has a pair of the expensive Nike Mercurial cleats and has had big problems with blisters on the bottom of his big toes. Everything we have tried has not worked and he ended up with a staph infection. As usual Nike want nothing to do with changing the cleats for another pair

Anyone has similar experiences and resolved them. I understand this is is common issue with these plastic cleats that do not let your feet breathe

My son has a pair of Mercurials ($220) and he hasn't had the problem with blisters, but he does have a problem getting them on. They are way to tight, and with the top cover over the laces, it is hard to loosen them. We already have to buy another pair, as these are to hard to get on. I will avoid these in the future.
