I was at my nephews soccer game last summer. The coach was always in the way on the field. Many people noticed it. When the kids would go to kick the ball, chances were that the coach was standing right there in the way.
The funny thing we noticed is that his child was on the oposite team. He wouldn't stand in the way of those players on his childs team. Only those on the other team.
How could one address a coach that is viewed as showing poor team spirit and maybe even cheating the game?
You may need to bring up this subject with your association and have them deal with it. If you confront this person he may be insulted by the comments. He/she may not realize he/she is doing it. It seems to me he/she may be standing away from his/her own players to watch(get a better view) on what they doing but he/she doesn't do it to the other team because he/she doesn't care what they are doing.( I don't want to put it that way) but you know what I mean. It may not be something he/she is aware of. Like I said though, let the association know what is going on as they are trained in how to deal with these situations.
You might be able to get your point across in a real subtle way. Inform the coach of the proper positioning of where the coach should stand so that they might see the field better. Better awareness will equal better results of what needs to be done to help these kids.
