| Have them set and reach a goal of at least one hundred touches per practice, whether it is with another player or by themself between their own two feet.

True.
Touches are the key to soccer.
Then touches with the head up.
If they do it every day (which most won't) it will become as easy as text messaging.
Which they all can do very well.

Here are a MILLION reasons why you (American Youth Coach) need to ‘Open your Mind’and change your way of thinking about the Practice Routine! Average number of touches in just 5 years:
1) Typical American : "player = 229,500
2) PSV Dutch player = 1,134,000
3) FUNdamental player = 1,620,000
The numbers speak for themselves!
